New on DVD: Madea’s Big Happy Family 0
White people were never even once considered when making this movie.

White people were never even once considered when making this movie.
Had this film been released in September of 2008, there’s a chance it would have affected the outcome of the United States presidential election. There’s no way white people would’ve voted for Barrack Obama had they seen “Jumping the Broom” first.
Missing from the cast of “For Colored Girls”, unfortunately, is Madea herself. Perry normally casts “her” for comic relief. Boy, could I have used some laughs in this overly melodramatic clusterfuck.
“Lottery Ticket” is not funny! No, I don’t mean that the jokes are dumb. I mean there are very few jokes! In fact, I found the portrayal of ghetto life rather frightening.
